Listen up! Cries of "Inhumane" can be heard because of the electronic abusers. Teaching and training requires communication and interaction between us and our dogs. The introduction of any form of an invisible confinement requires respect that also carries over to everyday life with our buddies.

Indoors.
Invisibly zone indoors with a "keep off" system. This is most helpful around food or furniture. Maybe your career allows you to work at home and you do not need paws on your projects or your clients. Restricted room? No problem. Containment to a specified area of the home can also be done with a wireless transmitter system.

Traditional Escape.
"Doggie here has mastered the great escape with traditional fencing, it's hopeless." Wait. Why not place an underground barrier outside of what you already have? A back-up collar within the barricade. Hmm.

Yes Freedom!
Go ahead; let the dogs out to smell the breeze. You won't need to wait on the other end of the leash until the wind changes direction. You do not have to stand outside in the rain with an umbrella unless your dog has you trained accordingly.

Give your pet the exercise he needs and the fresh air he craves. Chase that ball, run, do what dogs do without choking on that tie-out. Free to roam within a safe confinement is what you want for them. What you do not want is an obstruction to your surroundings.

You have probably already decided that an invisible fence is what you want for your dog.

  • Remember surge protection - Be prepared for lightening strikes and prevent a call to your insurance company.
  • You also want a warning should there be a break in an outdoor system.
  • Jot down on your calendar a battery replacement date.
  • Remember, this is invisible to the public, including critters - Be alert to what is going on outside.
