Measurements. More than one pet? Take the measurements of the top tallest and bottom lowest.
- NATURAL FOOTING. Ideally, and not all applications will give you the option, install location should have a "rise"; (from floor/ground level) of 1" below pet's underside.
- CIRCUMFERENCE. Add 2" to their height (includes 1" above & 1" below). Add minimum 1" to pet's measured width.

Are you thinking about taking an easy way out of housebreaking? Sorry, it is not going to work out that way. Train your pup to take care of business outside then train your pup to walk through a pet door. Unfortunately, we owners cannot cheat our way through this puppy hood stage. That said, know your breed's expected adult measurements before installation.
